
Since
1999, Yoga for Health has offered a variety of yoga classes,
gentle to vigorous, and styles, from Kripalu to Ashtanga. Yoga
is for everyone, no matter what your age, fitness level or degree
of flexibility. With a regular practice of yoga, you will feel
younger, become stronger and more flexible.
Tai
Chi is also available, which helps to keep you grounded
and works to help the chi or energy flow throughout the body.
The movements are done slowly and methodically, which allows the
chi to move.
Most classes
are 1 1/2; hrs, and classes are held 6 days a week, with classes
in the morning and the evening. The class rate is $13.00, and
discounts are available for multiple classes.
The instructors
are all certified, while many of them have additional training
to teach to specific populations, including expectant Moms, elderly,
teens, kids and infants.
We
also offer a variety of workshops including Yoga for Menopause, Yoga
for Men, Yoga on the Ball, Yoga for Hips and Hamstrings and Pilates,
just to name a few. The
classes are run on an 8 or 9 wk session, depending on how the days
fall. You may, however, join at any time if space is available.
Drop-ins are also welcome. There are many products for sale in the studio, including mats, ties, books and videos. Please check the links for further details. |
